What is an 05282 number?
This number is a NZ toll free number and the format is as follows, 05282 n nnn nnnn. We can use your existing fax number and append this to the 05282 number. For example, if you currently have a fax number 09 8886666, then we could issue you with the number 05282 9 8886666.

How do I retain my existing fax number and receive faxes in my email?
Well, this is where the NZ toll free 05282 number comes in handy.

You would use Call Divert Immediate or Call Divert Busy services which is provided by Telecom. Call Divert costs about $3.95 per month from Telecom, and will divert any faxes that are sent to your existing number to the 05282 number we give you.

Won't Telecom charge me for diversion costs?
